Tuna-Bagoong Rice with Green Mango Salsa
Ingredients:
Tuna Bagoong Rice
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 medium red onion, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- ¼ cup bottled bagoong guisado
- 2 185g Gold Seas Yellowfin Tuna Chunks in Olive Oil
- 6 cups cooked rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Green Mango Salsa
- ½ cup diced green mango
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Procedure:
- Make the green mango salsa: Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Make the tuna-bagoong rice: Sauté garlic and onion in oil until fragrant. Add bagoong guisado and Gold Seas Yellowfin Tuna Chunks in Olive Oil. Sauté for 2 minutes.
- Stir in rice and season with salt and pepper. Toss for 3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve tuna bagoong rice with green mango salsa.

Golden Tip: Tuna -Bagoong Rice can also be served with fried or chopped hard boiled eggs.
