Tuna-Bagoong Rice with Green Mango Salsa

Ingredients:
Tuna Bagoong Rice
  1. 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  2. 1 medium red onion, finely diced
  3. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  4. ¼ cup bottled bagoong guisado
  5. 2 185g Gold Seas Yellowfin Tuna Chunks in Olive Oil
  6. 6 cups cooked rice
  7. Salt and pepper to taste
Green Mango Salsa
  1. ½ cup diced green mango
  2. 1 cup diced tomatoes
  3. 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  4. 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  5. 1 teaspoon white sugar
  6. salt and pepper to taste
Procedure:
  1. Make the green mango salsa: Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Make the tuna-bagoong rice: Sauté garlic and onion in oil until fragrant. Add bagoong guisado and Gold Seas Yellowfin Tuna Chunks in Olive Oil. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in rice and season with salt and pepper. Toss for 3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Serve tuna bagoong rice with green mango salsa.

Golden Tip: Tuna -Bagoong Rice can also be served with fried or chopped hard boiled eggs.
